Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Planner to provide exceptional financial planning services to our diverse client base. This role requires an understanding of investment products, insurance, estate planning, and tax strategies to help our clients build wealth and secure their financial futures.

Responsibilities

• Design customized investment strategies to align with clients’ financial goals.
• Assist clients in understanding investment risk and performance.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial decisions and market performance.
• Facilitate client meetings to discuss financial plans and review progress.
• Engage in networking and marketing initiatives to attract new clients.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior financial advisors as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in financial services or investment advisory roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Planning
• Retirement Planning

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• CFA Level 1 or 2 completed
• Registered Financial Planner (RFP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Investment Banking experience.: Previous experience in investment banking or asset management.
• Fluent in Afrikaans.: Bilingual capabilities can be an asset in client management.
