We are seeking a Health and Safety Officer to lead our safety initiatives in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations in the field of environmental engineering. The ideal candidate will be passionate about workplace safety and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all safety documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Advise management on health and safety legislation changes.
• Serve as a point of contact for all health and safety concerns.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures.
• Conduct safety briefings for new employees.
• Support the integration of safety practices in project planning.
• Maintain accident and incident reporting frameworks.
