Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our Cape Town team. The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to distribution, ensuring efficiency and sustainability in operations. This role involves working closely with suppliers, managing inventory, and optimizing logistics to meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the supply chain, ensuring seamless workflow.
• Work closely with logistics providers for effective transport solutions.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Develop budgets to align operations with financial goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
