Open Die Inspector

Job Description

The Open Die Inspector is responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of open die forgings to meet customer specifications. This role involves evaluating forged parts and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all forged components meet the required quality standards.
• Utilize advanced measuring and inspection equipment.
• Assist in developing inspection plans and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the quality control team.
• Engage in problem-solving to address quality concerns.
• Achieve and maintain ISO compliance.
• Document and report inspection processes in detail.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training or certifications in quality control are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in inspection within the steel forging industry

Certifications
