Job Description

As a Hand Packer or Packager, your role will involve the efficient packing of products, ensuring that all items are accurately packaged according to quality standards. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wrap and pack items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
• Check items against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of items packed for shipment.
• Work closely with the logistics department to meet shipping deadlines.
• Conduct regular checks of packing equipment to ensure functionality.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in packaging or warehousing

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation skills
• Proficient in health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of quality control standards: Understanding of quality assurance processes in packing.
• Bilingual skills - Afrikaans and English: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans is advantageous.
