Job Description

We're seeking a results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations in Durban. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing our inventory control processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities and a keen understanding of logistics.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock replenishment.
• Implement training programs to enhance staff competencies in warehouse processes.
• Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and technology integration.
• Collaborate with transport teams to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Review and analyze warehouse performance data to identify trends.
• Manage operational budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.
• Lead safety initiatives to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Engage with suppliers to maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are preferred

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in warehousing and distribution roles
