Our Johannesburg branch is looking for an Architect who is passionate about design and committed to the principles of sustainable architecture. You will lead projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring compliance with local regulations while pushing the boundaries of design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans and proposals for various projects.
• Conduct site evaluations and assessments to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project feasibility.
• Prepare project documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Ensure all designs comply with government regulations and sustainability standards.
• Conduct research on new materials and technologies to enhance designs.
• Assist in the presentation of designs to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Building Codes and Regulations

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Professional Architect Registration
• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
