Job Description

As a Tax Consultant at Innovative Tax Solutions, you will provide expert advice on tax compliance and planning to our clients. You will analyze financial information and develop tax strategies to ensure compliance with South African tax laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to develop tax strategies.
• Provide excellent client service by maintaining relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Consult on transfer pricing and international tax issues.
• Review and enhance internal processes for tax efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant tax experience

Technical Skills

• Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Financial Regulations

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Time Management

Certifications

• Tax Practitioner Registration
• Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in corporate tax consulting: Exposure to corporate clients and business taxation issues.
• Knowledge of estate and trust taxation: Understanding of taxation related to estates and trusts.
