Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Language Tutor to join our team in Durban. You will help students of varying ages and skill levels achieve their language learning goals through customized lessons and engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Tailor lessons to meet the specific needs and interests of students.
• Structure sessions to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Facilitate a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Offer additional resources for language practice outside of sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching strategies.
• Organize language immersion events and activities.
• Utilize technology and online resources to aid learning.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in language instruction or tutoring

Technical Skills

• Language proficiency (English and/or isiZulu)
• Educational technology
