Job Description

We are seeking an Urban Planner who is keen to innovate urban landscapes in Pretoria. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for project development. Responsibilities

• Assess the social, economic, and environmental impacts of urban planning.
• Collaborate with architects and community representatives on design matters.
• Draft and propose development strategies for public spaces.
• Ensure alignment of urban plans with national and local regulations.
• Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets to meet deadlines.
• Engage with public agencies to advocate for urban improvement projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to convey planning insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct public surveys to gather community input and feedback.
• Work on land use compatibility assessments to optimize planning outcomes.
• Develop and maintain a library of plan documents and resources.
