Job Description

As a Macadam Raker, you'll be tasked with maintaining roadways through the removal and replacement of macadam surfaces. We are looking for individuals with experience in the construction industry who possess the necessary skills to perform these duties safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications
• Help train new team members on safe operating procedures
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized worksite

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the construction industry

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Construction Safety Procedures

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Communication

Certifications

• Certification in Heavy Machinery Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Road Building or Maintenance: Prior experience working specifically with macadam surfaces.
• Forklift Certification: Valid certification for operating forklifts.
