Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating animals, performing surgery, and providing preventative care. We seek a passionate individual committed to improving animal health and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose sick or injured animals.
  • Administer medications and provide ancillary treatments.
  • Educate clients on animal care and preventive measures.
  • Perform emergency surgeries and critical care interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and veterinary standards.
  • Contribute to the training and mentorship of junior staff.
  • Continuously improve clinical skills through professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
  • Further studies in Veterinary Science preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a veterinary surgery or emergency clinic is advantageous
