As an Accountant in our Cape Town office, you will be tasked with overseeing financial transactions, preparing timely financial reports, and ensuring that all accounting practices adhere to relevant regulations. Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial data for reporting purposes.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare documentation for audits and assist during audit processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure budget adherence.
• Provide financial insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Manage tax filings and ensure timely submissions.
• Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations.
• Upskill team members on financial best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or similar qualification is preferable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
