Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, with a focus on diagnosing and treating a variety of animals. You will play a vital role in ensuring the health and welfare of pets and livestock, through excellent medical, surgical, and dental care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health.
  • Develop treatment plans based on diagnostic results.
  • Monitor post-operative recovery and provide follow-up care.
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care practices.
  • Assist in the training of veterinary interns or technicians.
  • Conduct health assessments for new patient intakes.
  • Manage emergency cases with appropriate urgency and skill.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and learning.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification
Experience
  • 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
