Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our busy team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical practices and excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacist services in a community setting.
• Evaluate patients’ medication regimens for clinical appropriateness.
• Advise on over-the-counter medications and health products.
• Participate in clinical rounds with healthcare teams.
• Ensure pharmacy services are continuously improving in quality and patient safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist in the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with external organizations for patient-centered care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Specialization in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical Pharmacy)

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
