We are seeking a passionate Environmental Scientist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be involved in conducting field research, data analysis, and contributing to impactful environmental projects aimed at promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform ecological assessments and report findings.
• Engage with local communities for conservation efforts.
• Assist in the development of environmental policies.
• Utilize GIS software for mapping and data analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation for environmental projects.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on environmental awareness.
• Implement initiatives aimed at waste reduction and recycling.
• Research and assess the impacts of climate change.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years experience in environmental research or consultancy

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
