Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, perform examinations, diagnose illnesses, and create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' medical history and current health status.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support for patients and families.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effects.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Manage and track patient follow-ups and appointments.
  • Engage in community outreach and health promotion activities.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold privacy standards.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualifications in family medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years in a clinical setting preferred
