Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our passionate team in Cape Town. This role focuses on designing and implementing innovative solutions for environmental protection and sustainability. Candidates should have a strong background in environmental regulations, project management, and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of environmental projects from inception to completion.
• Assess potential environmental impacts of proposed projects.
• Develop and implement site remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with external contractors and consultants.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
• Review and improve existing environmental policies and practices.
• Prepare grant proposals and funding applications for environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering or consulting
