Job Description

As a Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing public health wellness programs throughout the state. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will promote community health and well-being, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute and refine wellness programs based on community needs.
  • Coordinate public health events and workshops.
  • Develop educational materials for community outreach.
  • Initiate collaborations with local businesses for wellness initiatives.
  • Utilize data analysis to assess program impact.
  • Facilitate training sessions for stakeholders and community health workers.
  • Oversee outreach campaigns to raise awareness about health initiatives.
  • Conduct presentations to local government and community boards.
  • Participate in regional health fairs and public health conferences.
  • Provide support and guidance to wellness ambassadors in community settings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, or related field
  • Master’s degree in Public Health (preferred)
Experience
  • 3-5 years in leading public health programs
