Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of psychological assessment and treatment, specializing in mental health issues. You will engage with clients to provide therapy and support, ensuring their mental well-being is prioritized at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose client psychological conditions.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to facilitate client healing.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals for integrated care.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.
  • Develop educational materials for client and community engagement.
  • Manage caseload effectively to meet client needs.
  • Supervise and mentor interns and junior staff.
  • Contribute to research initiatives within the organization.
  • Promote mental health awareness through community events.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (preferred)
  • Specialized training in family therapy or child psychology is a plus
