As an Investment Banker with our prestigious firm in Johannesburg, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategies for our clients. Your responsibilities will include evaluating investment prospects, performing due diligence, and creating presentations for stakeholders, ensuring optimal execution of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their financial goals and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Perform due diligence on prospective investments and target companies.
• Design and develop financial models that assist in decision-making processes.
• Draft reports that present market analysis and investment recommendations.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure proper transaction execution.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial presentations for client meetings.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to advise clients effectively.
• Facilitate client meetings and discussions to evaluate investment options.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate finance
