Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, overseeing, and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for civil engineering projects.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
  • Review and approve project plans, designs, and related documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise site staff.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to junior engineers.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
  • Prepare project costs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering
