Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our supportive team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a critical role in offering tax compliance services and tailored financial advice to our clients. You will be responsible for managing tax-related projects and ensuring adherence to local and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare intricate tax returns for various entities.
• Provide timely advice regarding changing tax regulations.
• Guide clients in planning complex taxes and credits.
• Ensure audit readiness for all tax compliance requirements.
• Review tax filings for accuracy and compliance with legislation.
• Conduct seminars to educate clients on tax strategies.
• Assist in developing tax policies and procedures.
• Analyze and report on tax risk assessments.
• Foster client relationships through dedicated service.
• Mentor team members in tax regulation changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related area
• Qualified CA or similar chartered designation is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of practical experience in taxation

• Registered Tax Consultant
• CIMA or equivalent certification is an advantage
