Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessment and therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to assist patients in overcoming mental health challenges. Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological assessments and provide diagnoses.
  • Design and implement therapeutic programs tailored to individual needs.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups.
  • Evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex cases.
  • Conduct outreach activities to promote mental health awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in research and contribute to clinical projects.
  • Serve as a resource for mental health information and education.
  • Assist in training and supervision of interns and new staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent is an advantage
Experience
  • 4+ years in a clinical or counseling setting
