Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing public health initiatives aimed at improving community health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Lead public health needs assessments and program evaluations.
  • Collaborate with government agencies to enhance public health policies.
  • Prepare and present reports on program outcomes.
  • Train staff on public health initiatives and community engagement.
  • Participate in public health coalitions and working groups.
  • Develop and implement strategies to advocate for health equity.
  • Facilitate community meetings to discuss health needs.
  • Support the creation of educational materials for the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or Health Policy is highly preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health program management
