Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in our Bloemfontein office, you will contribute to diverse infrastructure projects from conception through to completion. The role requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as you will be tasked with ensuring that designs are feasible and sustainable. Your input will be essential in managing resources and meeting strict timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze engineering calculations and design plans.
• Estimate material and labor costs for project budgets.
• Ensure that projects comply with legal regulations and applicable standards.
• Lead site meetings with contractors and stakeholders to discuss project progress.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout project lifecycles.
• Review and provide feedback on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve project performance.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on engineering best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• English: Fluent
