Structural Engineer

Job Description

Join our George office as a Structural Engineer, overseeing the structural integrity of diverse projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our designs meet safety standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis using software and manual methods.
• Communicate design concepts and solutions to clients and team members.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
• Implement sustainability practices in engineering solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
• Assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates for new projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• LEED Accredited Professional is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Project Management experience: Strong project management skills to oversee various projects.
