Job Description

As a Drywall and Ceiling Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall and gypsum boards to create smooth and even surfaces. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the interior finishes of various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install drywall sheets and ceiling tiles with precision.
• Perform finishing work on drywall joints to achieve smooth surfaces.
• Conduct repairs on existing drywall surfaces as needed.
• Follow set schedules and adhere to safety regulations on-site.
• Document progress and report any issues to the Site Supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications or training in drywall installation are advantageous.

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a construction role focusing on interior finishes.

Technical Skills

• Finishing techniques
• Tool proficiency

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with other interior finishing techniques: Experience in painting or wallpapering would be beneficial.
