Join our team as a Shale Blasting Miner, responsible for executing controlled blasting operations in a shale mining environment. Collaboration with engineers and fellow miners will ensure mining targets are safely achieved. We seek candidates who are skilled in drilling equipment operation and passionate about adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments prior to blasting
• Manage explosive materials in accordance with regulations
• Document all blasting activities and outcomes
• Coordinate with other team members for efficient blasting execution
• Evaluate the impact of each blast and adjust future plans accordingly
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Contribute to operational efficiency by suggesting process improvements
• Assist in the training of less experienced miners

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Shale Blasting Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in shale blasting

Certifications

• Driver's License

Languages
