Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough evaluations and document patient histories.
  • Prescribe treatment protocols and medications according to regulations.
  • Work with medical staff to refine patient care processes.
  • Facilitate patient consultations and follow-ups.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote health initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Manage patient referrals and coordinate care with specialists.
  • Train and mentor nursing staff to uphold high care standards.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.
  • Review and suggest improvements for patient care practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in South Africa
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years as a NP
