Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor at Mental Wellness Solutions, you will provide support and therapy to clients facing various mental health issues. Your expertise in psychological assessment and counseling will play a crucial role in helping individuals manage their conditions and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate psychological and emotional needs of clients.
• Implement therapeutic sessions and maintain therapeutic rapport.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support when needed.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to report on client progress.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Participate in ongoing assessments to refine treatment approaches.
• Plan and lead community workshops promoting mental health resources.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in psychotherapy
