Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician in Johannesburg who will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware and software. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT support queries.
  • Configure new hardware and software for end-users.
  • Assist in maintaining user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Resolve issues related to printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform regular backups and data recovery as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Relevant IT certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
