Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, project management, and site safety. You'll be responsible for coordinating various teams and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive construction project plans.
  • Oversee the daily operations on construction sites.
  • Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
  • Manage material procurement and logistics.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance and compliance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with local authorities for permits and inspections.
  • Document and report on project achievements and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Construction Management is advantageous
  • Master's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects
