General Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented General Engineer to contribute to our projects in Durban. You will utilize your engineering expertise to drive projects from concept to completion while ensuring adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Assess component designs for feasibility and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to ensure standards are met.
• Document all engineering processes and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in research and development initiatives to innovate new solutions.
• Work closely with clients to understand their engineering needs.
• Present project updates and deliverables to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering or Management is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years in project engineering or related fields

• SolidWorks
• MATLAB

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
