Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will lead community health initiatives, assess public health needs, and develop strategies to improve health outcomes. You’ll play a vital role in health education, disease prevention, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor public health risks and respond to health crises.
  • Engage community members for input on health programs.
  • Evaluate new public health policies and their impact.
  • Create awareness campaigns to educate the community.
  • Assist in grant writing for public health funding.
  • Facilitate data collection methods and analysis.
  • Deliver presentations on public health issues to stakeholders.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public health or community health services
