Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in finance to support clients with strategic planning and investment decisions. From financial analysis to deal structuring, your insights will be integral to our clients' success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings to discuss financial strategies and options.
• Analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.
• Facilitate negotiations and close financial deals.
• Guide clients through complex regulatory requirements.
• Develop new business through networking and relationship building.
• Create detailed investment proposals and conduct risk assessments.
• Monitor investment performance and provide regular updates.
• Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and support.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the investment banking sector

• Financial Modelling
• Valuation Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level I or II
• Certified Investment Banking Professional (CIBP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual with English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience with M&A advisory: Background in mergers and acquisitions advisory roles.
