Environmental Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Environmental Consultant who will play a critical role in assessing, analyzing, and advising on a wide range of environmental issues. This role requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and a commitment to sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate site conditions and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Assist clients in achieving environmental certifications and standards.
• Implement and monitor environmental management systems.
• Conduct field inspections and site visits to ensure compliance.
• Provide expert testimony for environmental regulatory hearings.
• Foster positive relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Research and implement innovative environmental solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting

Certifications

• Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Certification
• LEAN Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in renewable energy projects: Previous work in renewable energy projects will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting: Understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI or CDP.
