Tax Consultant

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Tax Consultant with in-depth knowledge of tax legislation and a client-focused approach. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax planning strategies, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. You will also support clients through the tax filing process to minimize liabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ financial reporting for tax implications.
• Facilitate tax compliance reviews and propose improvements.
• Stay up to date with international and local tax law changes.
• Assist in the development of training materials for tax seminars.
• Represent clients during tax audits and disputes.
• Analyze client transactions for tax impacts and provide advice.
• Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
• Liaise with external auditors regarding tax audit queries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation consulting

• Certified Tax Advisor

Languages
