Job Description

Join our dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacist in Cape Town. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote safe medication practices and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
• Review prescription and medication orders for accuracy.
• Work alongside medical professionals to implement pharmaceutical protocols.
• Facilitate patient medication history reviews and assessments.
• Mentor pharmacy interns and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional certifications in immunization or diabetes education is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a community pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Clinical pharmacy
• Medication therapy management

Certifications

• Immunization Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Background in community health initiatives: Experience in promoting public health and wellness programs.
