Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will work on a variety of exciting projects that require innovative design solutions and a solid understanding of building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural components and systems for buildings and other structures.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated project solutions.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with engineering designs and building regulations.
• Provide support for project management and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on design specifications, calculations, and structural integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred but not required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the field of structural engineering

• Revit
• MS Project

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
