Job Description

Join our passionate team at Healthcare Services Group as a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy hospital environment. Your role will include administering medications, developing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient responses to treatment and report to medical staff.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in developing health promotion initiatives and programs.
• Participate in nursing research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health education.
• Contribute to the development of nursing policy and guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical practices at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
• Certification in a specialised field (e.g. cardiology, pediatrics) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital environment

Certifications

• Registered Nursing License
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Bilingual Skills (English and Afrikaans): Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
