Job Description

Join our passionate team at Healthcare Services Group as a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy hospital environment. Your role will include administering medications, developing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support daily activities.
• Manage patient hygiene and comfort during their stay.
• Perform wound care and administer intravenous therapies.
• Respond to patient calls and assess their needs promptly.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist in organizing and performing nursing procedures and interventions.
• Conduct patient safety checks and report any concerns.
• Ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
• Certification in a specialised field (e.g. cardiology, pediatrics) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital environment

Certifications

• Registered Nursing License
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Bilingual Skills (English and Afrikaans): Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
