Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Pretoria. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to our patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Ideal candidates are passionate about patient care, possess excellent clinical skills, and are committed to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
• Advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Conduct health education sessions for both patients and their families.
• Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff.
• Participate in the development of community health programs.
• Assist in administrative duties as required.
• Stay updated on best practices in nursing and healthcare.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a primary care setting

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
