Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at Mental Health Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in patient care by providing psychological assessments and therapy. You should possess the ability to form strong therapeutic relationships and be adept at collaboratively developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose psychological conditions using standardized measures.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals for integrated care.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
  • Document treatment progress and adapt plans accordingly.
  • Conduct crisis interventions when necessary.
  • Provide training and supervision to interns and junior staff.
  • Participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology, preferably Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical psychology
