Job Description

As an AWS DevOps Engineer in Cape Town, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure that supports our applications. You will collaborate with development teams to streamline processes and enhance the overall performance of our systems. We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in AWS technologies, CI/CD practices, and a keen desire to innovate.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure design discussions and propose solutions to technical challenges.
• Collaborate on the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Utilize monitoring tools to gain insights into system health and performance.
• Stay updated on the latest AWS features and services to improve our infrastructure.
• Create and maintain operational documentation for cloud architectures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in DevOps roles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
