We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for environmental protection, sustainability, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of current environmental laws and practices, with a focus on innovative solutions that promote environmental integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental risks associated with projects and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor environmental indicators and maintain data collection for analysis.
• Advise on eco-friendly materials and sustainable practices.
• Assist in the training of staff on environmental practices and compliance.
• Coordinate with local authorities on environmental permits.
• Evaluate project designs for environmental considerations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental projects
