We are searching for motivated Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team. You will be responsible for operating sawing machinery to accurately cut and shape wood materials to the required specifications. Ideal candidates will have an understanding of technical drawings and experience in woodworking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up various sawing machines, ensuring precision in cuts.
• Conduct weekly maintenance checks on sawing equipment.
• Ensure raw materials are stored correctly and handled safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to house-keeping protocols.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets.
• Monitor and report on production performance and quality metrics.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
• Participate in safety training and workshops.
• Support inventory management and material tracking.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in sawing equipment operation and maintenance preferred.
