Job Description

As a Textile Cutting Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining fur cutting machines. Your attention to detail will ensure the quality of our products meets the high standards our customers expect. We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with our production team.

Responsibilities

• Cut furs according to specified patterns and quality standards.
• Inspect furs for defects and quality before processing.
• Sort furs based on color and type as required.
• Package and prepare furs for shipment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Assist in inventory management of machine parts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maximise productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• A certificate or diploma in a similar field is preferred

Experience

• Stable experience working in a textile manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Quality control experience

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with cutting various types of fur: Hands-on experience in processing different fur materials.
• Experience operating other textile machines: Knowledge of other machines in the textile production line.
