We are seeking a proactive Environmental Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing projects aimed at reducing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental modeling and risk assessments.
• Advocate for green technologies and practices in engineering projects.
• Assist in the identification and evaluation of environmental risks.
• Promote sustainable development initiatives within the company.
• Participate in local environmental committees and initiatives.
• Compile and analyze data for environmental research projects.
• Manage relationships with contractors and consultants.
• Assist in grant writing for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering
