We are looking for a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to evaluate insurance applications and make decisions based on the risk associated with each case. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies and exceptional analytical skills to assess potential risks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments based on financial and historical data.
• Engage in negotiations with clients regarding insurance proposals.
• Evaluate claims filed and adjust premiums accordingly.
• Stay updated with market trends and changes in insurance laws.
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance or related field
• Professional certifications in underwriting are highly recommended

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant underwriting experience
