As a Network Security Specialist in our dynamic Cape Town office, you will be tasked with creating secure network infrastructures and monitoring potential threats. Your role involves not just responding to incidents, but also developing strategies to prevent data breaches and enhance overall security.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance network security and data protection.
• Design and implement security solutions based on industry standards.
• Train personnel on security procedures and policies.
• Work with vendors to evaluate and integrate security products.
• Prepare reports for management on security status and incidents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in information security
